The Dryad’s Pawprint begins the Paranormal Council series with a quick romance that has a bit of a twist, and two fated mates who already have begun to unknowingly tie themselves to each other faced with a complicated situation.

This series is now complete so I’ll be able to do a binge-read on the remaining stories.  While this series has been out for a few years now, it’s brand new to me which just proves my point of being careful in reviews of not spoiling other’s enjoyment of a story by giving everything away.

Kem and Lia met a year ago, each felt a unique draw to each other but time slipped away without learning names.  Now Kem is facing a difficult decision as he has been, well, commanded to make a political marriage when he’s determined to hold out for his true mate.  The Dryad’s Pawprint brings us their romance with a few twists, an introduction to the series, and a very satisfying solution to their unique situation.

I like this world, and yes, it was a quick read but it gave me enough to want more, to learn more about people, situations that were started here… so I’ll definitely be following this series over the coming weeks.
